ModMAG Field Verification Device — Portable Meter Verifier

Product Overview

The ModMAG Field Verification Device is a handheld tool that checks an installed ModMAG M1000, M2000 or M5000 electromagnetic flow meter in place — the meter stays in the line and the process keeps running. In about 20 minutes it confirms the amplifier is within 1% of the original factory calibration, verifies every meter input and output, and measures electrode resistance, coil resistance and coil insulation. Clear pass/fail results aid troubleshooting and download to a Windows PC. A Li-pol rechargeable battery, IP46 protection and a rugged transport case (with the test cable, chargers and PC cables) make it a field instrument, not a bench one. It is a verification tool, not a flow meter — it confirms a meter is reading true and does not itself measure process flow.

Verifies the ModMAG M1000, M2000 and M5000
M1000 — the baseline mag meter M2000 — high-accuracy mag meter, ±0.2% M5000 — battery-powered mag meter
ModMAG Field Verification Device — portable electromagnetic flow-meter verifier
ModMAG Field Verification Device — portable in-line meter verifier (M1000 / M2000 / M5000).

Key Features & Benefits

  • In-line verification — confirms meter functionality without pulling the meter or stopping the process — about a 20-minute test
  • Calibration check — determines whether the meter amplifier is within 1% of its original factory calibration
  • Full input / output check — verifies all of the meter’s inputs and outputs, including current and frequency outputs
  • Electrode & coil integrity — measures electrode resistance, coil resistance and coil insulation resistance
  • Signal-processing evaluation — checks the meter’s signal-processing functionality
  • Pass/fail troubleshooting — clear pass/fail results, downloadable to a Windows PC
  • Portable & rugged — 450 g, Li-pol rechargeable battery, IP46-rated, in a rugged transport case
