About this industry
The slurry and tailings circuit is where ordinary meters go to die — abrasive, solids-laden streams scour through liners and grind away moving parts, and a lot of the flow you need to read is in lines that never run clean. Prater Technical Partners supplies flow metering built for exactly that duty: hard-rubber-lined ModMAG M1000 and M2000 mag meters for abrasive conductive slurry, the ModMAG M3000 for solids-bearing conductive process lines, a Dynasonics DFX that clamps on and reads slurry and tailings flow from outside the pipe with nothing in the stream, and a Preso COIN segmented wedge for abrasive mineral-slurry service. Prater Technical works with you to spec each one from the fluid, the line size, and the wear you expect.
