About this industry
A roll-fed thermoforming line is a heat problem first — the sheet has to reach forming temperature evenly across its full width, with the top and bottom oven banks balanced, zones tuned so thick and thin areas draw right, and any moisture or solvent driven off before the platens close. Prater Technical Partners supplies that layer: Solar Products F and T Series infrared panels for the top and bottom oven zones, multi-zone IR oven systems for independently controlled profiles across the sheet, FBA convection-assist panels where moisture and solvent have to leave with the heat, cleanable M/G/V panels for the bottom bank where scrap can fall on the heater, and Fluke Process Instruments MP line scanners that read the actual cross-sheet profile for scrap reduction. Prater Technical works with you to spec each one from the material, the sheet gauge, and the oven drawing.
