About this category
Indeeco immersion heaters put electric heat directly into the fluid — tubular elements immersed in the tank, vessel, or pipe, with the sheath alloy matched to what they heat — and the first selection is the mounting style: how the heater meets the tank. Flanged heaters bolt to an ANSI Class 150 / 300 nozzle on a pressure vessel, large tank, or circulation heater — the workhorse where a mating flange exists or can be added, and the one style with an ASME Section VIII Code stamp available; screw-plug heaters thread into a 1″–2½″ NPT coupling — the economical fit for smaller tanks, pipes, and lower-kW loads; and over-the-side heaters hang over the wall of an open tank with no penetration at all. Pick the mounting style by the tank first, then the alloy, kW, and watt density — Prater Technical works with you to spec the right Indeeco immersion heater.
