An irrigation pump station is where the district earns its water accounting — a pump house lifting canal water into a buried delivery main, a reclaimed and non-potable line running alongside, a large main that needs metering without shutting down, and a chemical-injection skid dosing fertilizer and pesticide by the pulse.
