About this industry
Heat-treat and atmosphere furnaces are sealed hot boxes — the part you need to measure is behind a door, inside a sealed retort, or on the far side of a controlled atmosphere, and the oven itself has to hold its air to spec. Prater Technical Partners supplies that layer end to end: Fluke Process Instruments Endurance pyrometers sighting interior targets through sight-tube ports on the batch and controlled-atmosphere furnaces, WIKA-ST general-industrial pressure transmitters reading controlled-atmosphere chamber pressure, the ThermoView TV30 imager watching the furnace shell, and Indeeco, Heatrex, and Accutherm process-air heaters on the annealing ovens. For a bay still running legacy Raytek or Ircon sensors, we keep the migration references that preserve the measurement principle. Prater Technical works with you to spec each one from the target, the sight path, and the furnace atmosphere.
