IR Curing & Drying

About this industry

An infrared curing and drying tunnel has to put the right energy on the surface and then carry the moisture or solvent away — fast-response panels that come up to heat with the line, panels shaped to the part and the oven, and process air that finishes the cure or drives the film, ink, and varnish dry. Prater Technical Partners supplies that layer: Solar Products Q Series fast-response panels and custom OEM panels built to the oven, Indeeco, Heatrex, and Accutherm process-air heaters for coating-cure and drying air, Raytek GP Series pyrometers for non-contact checks on painted and organic surfaces in the 8–14 µm band, and Solar legacy panel retrofits when the existing bank is aged or obsolete. Prater Technical works with you to spec each one from the coating, the line speed, and the oven drawing.
