CIP and plant water is the sanitation backbone — hot water and tanks that drive clean-in-place and sterilize-in-place cycles, open tanks whose heaters get pulled for cleaning, cleaning chemicals and sanitizers that have to be dosed accurately, and process and batch water metered around the plant.
