About this industry
A hot-rolling and forging line lives on temperature and torque — strip that has to be profiled across the full mill width, billets read at each stand, presses that hammer on a heavy repeating duty, and hydraulic circuits that have to run a fire-resistant fluid near hot metal. Prater Technical Partners supplies that layer end to end: Fluke Process Instruments MP line scanners with the ES150 hot-rolling-mill software profiling the moving strip, Endurance and Thermalert 4.0 heads on billets at the stands, the ThermoView TV30 imager on press hardening and spin-forming, Reuland NEMA Design D drives on the punch, shear, and forming presses, and Hedland flow meters on the phosphate-ester and water-glycol hydraulic loops. Prater Technical works with you to spec each one from the target, the duty cycle, and the fluid.
