A compressor station runs its measurement where the atmosphere itself is the hazard — methane and natural gas that can accumulate around the manifold and skid, produced water and conductive fluids that have to be metered off the scrubbers, large process-gas lines that can only be tapped hot, and cramped skid piping with no room for a full meter run.
