Offshore Platform & Subsea

About this industry

An offshore platform stacks the hardest cases in one place — hazardous-area heating on the topside, process loops carrying salt-laden water, oil, or fuel, liquid flow that still has to be measured, and load and pressure sensing that lives underwater at real depth. Prater Technical Partners supplies that layer end to end: Accutherm explosion-proof immersion heaters with ATEX/IECEx-marked construction and Monel marine-duty circulation heaters for topside process loops, Blancett turbine meters for offshore liquid flow, WIKA-ST canister load cells and deep-sea differential-pressure transducers for subsea load and pressure monitoring, and — at the derrick — WIKA-ST 1502 hammer-union pressure transmitters for standpipe, mud, and pressure-control lines with well-service load cells for coiled-tubing and wireline forces. Prater Technical works with you to spec each one from the fluid, the area classification, and the sea depth.
