About this industry
An engine or drivetrain test cell puts controlled power into the article under test and measures every bit of it back — a dynamometer that motors and absorbs, torque and thrust read together on the driveline, transient pressure and burst events captured cleanly, and fuel consumption metered to a repeatable figure. Prater Technical Partners supplies that layer across Reuland test-stand and dynamometer motors — IPM to 1,000 HP, SPM to 30,000 rpm, sized to a specific rig — WIKA-ST multi-axis torque cells and dynamic pressure transducers, Industrial Oval Gear fuel-consumption meters on the stand, Hedland variable-area meters on the coolant and lube circuits, and the Cox EC80 turbine feeding analog and frequency outputs straight into the cell DAQ. Prater Technical works with you to spec each one from the rig, the power, and the data the cell has to log.
