Component & Durability Rigs

About this industry

A durability lab loads automotive hardware until it talks — drivetrains characterized for torque and thrust, clutches and brakes turned against a torque bench, suspensions and powertrains cycled on servo-hydraulic frames, and brake rotors imaged for the heat they shed. Prater Technical Partners supplies that measurement layer end to end: WIKA-ST multi-axis torque-thrust cells, reaction torque sensors, and pancake load cells across the torque and load rigs, Flo-tech Activa, Ultima, and MC4000 instruments for hydraulic test-stand sensor arrays and power-steering diagnostics, and ThermoView thermal imaging for brake-test heat mapping. Prater Technical works with you to spec each one from the rig, the load path, and the rating.
