About this industry
A treatment train is a chain of measurements — influent flow in an open channel, mixed liquor and return lines that foul anything with parts in the stream, a digester that is both a classified area and a vessel that has to hold temperature, and sludge lines that eat ordinary meters. Prater Technical Partners supplies that layer end to end: Dynasonics open-channel and ModMAG full-bore mag meters, Vortex insertion meters on the aeration air headers, a ThermoView TV30 thermal imager watching the flare, GasSens methane detection in the enclosed digester galleries, Indeeco and Accutherm flanged-immersion heating, Flo-tech hydraulic test equipment for gate actuators, and Preso Venturi and wedge meters where the solids run heavy. Prater Technical works with you to spec each one from the channel, the fluid, and the area classification.
