A production wellsite pad crowds flow, pressure, and heat onto a few square yards of gravel — injection and produced-fluid metering at the wellhead, frac and well-service lines that spike toward 20,000 psi, chemical-injection and fuel skids that meter by the drop, and valves and enclosures that have to stay above freezing through the winter.
